Ever wanted to learn the guitar but never got around to it. There must be a huge number of people in this world that are in this boat, however if you are one of them then read on as I have a solution.

The main reasons people don’t start playing the guitar or try and give up is, the cost and the inconvenience of traveling to lessons.

What make me an expert? Well I have taught many people to play guitar and many years ago I too was a student and know what its like. When I started out I took guitar lessons in Sydney and although my teacher was very good, it cost me a lot of money that I could not afford. A few years later I took guitar lessons in London when I lived there, but it was a complete nightmare traveling to and from lessons in London traffic every night after work!

However nowadays there is a solution, and that is to learn the guitar online. There are some fantastic audio and video guitar lessons that come in complete courses carefully planned out so someone who has never even picked up a guitar in there life can learn and progress to an advanced stage.

The great thing about learning the guitar online is that you can take the lessons when, where and as many times as you like and the great thing is that you only pay once!

I always encourage people that ask me what the best way to learn guitar is, to take up online lessons and save a lot of time and money.

You can take guitar lessons in New York or Paris or even the Australia outback with online lessons, because you actually download the courses or stream them online and can take them anywhere you want. This is a huge advantage for people that don’t live in a big city too.

Learning the guitar is a fabulous hobby and can even become your full time career and as someone who has been playing the guitar for 15 years now I recommend learning the guitar online.

All the best!

I have been playing the guitar for a number of years now and I have found learning to play the guitar has been one of the best things that I have ever done.

Being brought up in a culture where men where not encouraged to show or express their feelings was challenging, and as I grew older I found that I needed a way to channel my feelings. So as a late teen I decided to learn the guitar.

When I first started my finger would ache and I would keep breaking strings from strumming too hard, but none the less I eventually mastered my 1st Nirvana song.

After moving through the Smashing Pumpkins phrases I began to start trying to write my on songs and surprisingly I was able to come up with a few original sounds and composed my very on songs.

The best part about learning the guitar for me was thart I was able to express what I felt by translating this through my guitar. And in a world that continually sends you messages that you need to look like Brad Pitt and be as cool as John Wayne, it can be confusing. However I found the true me when I would get lost in my guitar.

I first started taking guitar lessons in New York and when moved to Australia I mucked around for a while and eventually started taking guitar lessons in Sydney where I live today.

The biggest challenge I faced with becoming a confident guitar player was that I struggled to be consistent with my lessons. Moving around a lot as a child and teenages with my family played a role in this. However then I discovered learning the guitar online and a whole new world opened up to me. The great thing about learning the guitar online is that you can take lessons when and where you like and the best part is that you only pay once!

I encourgae anyone play an instrument and also to consider online courses as they work and save you a lot of cash!
