Nice story. I used to play out in bands getting on for 30 years ago now. And I still have very fond memories of those times. Piling the amps and guitars into the back of an old van and then driving over to various nearby towns to perform in pubs and clubs. Great fun and very inspiring. If it wasn’t for all the lugging of equipment I’d probably still be doing it today.

You’re so right about the video game market being so baffling to us parents and grand-parents - not to mention expensive. My young nephew wanted two games for Xmas, which I agreed to buy. They set me back nearly £100 and took me a full 2 hours of traipsing from shop to shop until I found what he wanted. What’s wrong with Scrabble and Monopoly?
